COMMUNITY CENTER
Executive Director
-
Clara Lim is the Executive Director of the EduBud Community Center. Her vision for the Community Center started during her Fulbright in Spain, where Clara researched health policies while working at an under-resourced high school. Students with special needs were often left without the individualized attention they deserved, creating environments where learning was nearly impossible. What struck her most was the lack of resources once these students left school. At around age 22, structured support ends, leaving many facing decades of isolation just as life should be beginning. This experience inspired Clara to launch EduBud’s special needs program. While her work began with younger students, she became committed to supporting adults with special needs, an overlooked population that deserves continued opportunities to learn, grow, and lead meaningful lives.
Program Director
-
Sharon Yang is the Program Director of EduBud Community Center, bringing over 10 years of experience in education across both public schools and private institutions. She is passionate about creating inclusive spaces where learners of all abilities can grow in confidence, creativity, and life skills. With a strong background in curriculum design and individualized instruction, Sharon integrates academics, arts, sports, and social-emotional learning into well-rounded programs. Through EduBud, she is committed to empowering students and fostering meaningful connections with families and the community.
