The Blue Bridge Project is a student-led initiative aimed at fostering awareness, inclusion, and social connection for adults with diverse learning needs at the EduBud Community Center in Suwanee, GA.
At the heart of the Blue Bridge Project is a one-to-one mentorship model, pairing a high school chapter student with a Community Center student—either virtually or in-person—for weekly meetings or social hangouts. Together, they prepare for monthly themed community events, including art projects, cooking demonstrations, fall festivals, music events, talent shows, and more. By focusing on personal, human connections rather than abstract awareness, the project cultivates empathy, social skills, and inclusion in a way that is both meaningful and measurable.
