Our mission at EduBud is to bridge educational disparities by providing mentorship, resources, and advocacy to underserved communities. We are committed to empowering students, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds, by offering the support they need to succeed academically and personally. Through our Youth initiatives, we work to inspire positive social change, foster leadership skills, and create opportunities for students to thrive in a more equitable and inclusive education system. Our goal is to ensure that every studenthas access to the opportunities and guidance they need to reach their full potential.
What do we do?
At EduBud, we connect our team of trained highschool and college volunteers with primary education (K-6) students through our unique volunteer matchmaking system. This system pairs each volunteer with a student in need of mentorship, creating meaningful one-on-one relationships that foster academic growth and personal development. Our volunteers work closely with their mentees, providing homework help, guidance, and emotional support, while also serving as positive role models. Through this mentorship, we aim to inspire students, boost their confidence, and help them navigate educational challenges, ultimately empowering them to reach their full potential. This collaborative approach strengthens both the volunteers and mentees, creating a cycle of growth, learning, and support within the community.
